"IRTank" Project

This is probably the most "toylike" application in this book. It's actually a lot of fun to move around the tank using just a "Sony" brand compatible TV Remote control. The "tank" is actually known as a "Differential Drive Robot" and a number of different platforms can be used for the application - not just the two Tamiya tank drives I used for my prototype. Personally, I recommend Tamiya's "Wall Hugging Mouse" (70068-1300) as it is much easier to build.
