To get at the Flash source code in the files that you can download from the Web site, please be aware of the following:

These files were created on a PC. If you are using a Macintosh, once you have downloaded all the files, launch the Flash application, select File | Open, and then specify "All Files" for the Format ued to open the files.

Also, for all the files you can access here, the filenaming convention is the same as what's used in the book's chapters. If you chose to download file Figure09-01, be aware that this corresponds to figure one from chapter nine.

And, you'll see that there are 2 versions of each file -- one with the  ".fla" extension and the other with the ".swf". extension. You'll find the  source code in the .fla file; the .swf one is included for viewing purposes.
